Raina gets here ears pierced..
Raina turned 10 months on Monday :)
We have been wanting to get Raina's ears peirced since the moment we brought our little girl home from the hospital! Doc says "wait until she has had her first tetenus shot at 2 months.."
My how time flies. We should have done it sooner. It was no easy task getting our wiggly little girl to sit still long enought to get it done. I was so worried they would be uneven!
But she did excellent. She sat on Daddy's lap, we distracted her with toys and let her play with the packaging from the piercing gun. She was happy, until the earing went in... the text moment, she screamed & cried! But calmed down quickly. It was a real challenge to get to the other ear for the second one, as she totally knew what was about to happen! Then it was all done. She only cried for a minute. We bought her a little pink stuffed toy, put her back in her carseat, and paid for the pretty 14k gold earings that were now in her ears :) Adorable!

Hello all..
Its been a busy time. My jewelry business has really taken off. Im getting orders everyday, which is great, but sometimes difficult to sqeeze in time to create and ship them in a timely manner! http://www.babyfistkeepsake.etsy.com/
Raina started standing up! First at some friends house over the weekend, and now shes doing it all the time, where ever she can! We think she will deffinately be walking before too long now. Watch out :) She is such a busy girl, always learning and exploring.

It snowed today. Approx an inch. It always seems like more! We've been way too lucky with the weather. Record high temps in january, I guess it's time for it to get super cold now. Hurry up spring!

It's a new year.
2011 was a great year! I should have started this blog along time ago. But with all the other little things to keep up on; baby books, calendars, pictures etc. Not to mention the hectic day to day stuff!
The good thing, Raina is only 9 months and well, better late than never!
So here goes. For all our family far away, friends and anyone who wants to read about our life here in the Midwest...
